The Western Michigan Broncos and the Bowling Green Falcons meet Tuesday in college Football action from Doyt Perry Stadium. Here’s a Bowling Green vs Western Michigan prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Bowling Green vs Western Michigan pick.

Western Michigan Broncos Betting Preview

The Broncos started off rough this year, losing three of their first four Games to Wisconsin, Ohio State and Marshall. After wins over Ball State, Akron, Buffalo and Kent State, Western Michigan fell into the loss column against Northern Illinois.

In the NIU matchup back on Wednesday, the Broncos gave up 21 points in both the second and third quarters in an eventual loss 42-28. Hayden Wolff finished with 179 pass yards, one TD and two picks. Jaden Nixon led the rush on 95 yards and two scores off 12 carries.

Bowling Green Falcons Betting Preview

Over on the Bowling Green side, they beat Fordham in their opener then lost to Penn State, Texas A&M and Old Dominion before another win over Akron. The Falcons then lost to NIU before wins over Kent State, Toledo and Central Michigan.

Last Tuesday in the Central Michigan Game, the Falcons held a slim 9-7 lead heading into the second half. Bowling Green managed to hang on from there in a 23-13 win. QB Connor Bazelak bagged 207 yards with a TD, while Terion Stewart led the rush with 117 yards on 20 totes.

Bowling Green vs Western Michigan Prediction

I’ll probably stay with Western Michigan, but you could argue it either way. The Broncos had a pretty rough offensive day against NIU—outside of the 211 rushing yards, that is. WMU posted just 2-of-10 on third-down tries and three interceptions. Along with the 255 rushing yards surrendered on defense it was too much to overcome.

As for Bowling Green, they went a rough 4-of-15 on third downs themselves and had 12 penalties in a sloppy win over Central Michigan. The Falcons defense held together well though, giving up 250 yards (63 passing) and 13 first downs. Western Michigan is going to need to control their mistakes and keep the chains moving here, but I think they’ve got a good shot at a cover.
