The Cleveland Guardians and the Baltimore Orioles meet Tuesday in MLB action from Oriole Park. Here’s a Baltimore Orioles vs Cleveland Guardians prediction. This will be the second installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.
Cleveland Guardians Betting Preview
The Guardians played the Toronto Blue Jays in their weekend series and did quite well. Cleveland won all three of those Games for a sweep 7-1, 6-3 and 6-5. On Monday in the opener versus the O’s, the Guardians eked out a 3-2 win. Tanner Bibee put up 6.0 innings in the start with one earned on five hits and a walk.
In the starter slot for the Guardians on Tuesday it’ll be Logan Allen. This year Allen is 8-3 with a 5.23 ERA in 15 starts. Over his career Allen is 15-11 with a 4.34 ERA in 39 starts total.
Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview
Over on the Orioles’ side, they had some trouble with the Houston Astros in their weekend set. Baltimore lost all three of those matchups, falling 14-11, 5-1 and 8-1 for a sweep. On Monday the Orioles were out-hit 8-5 in the defeat. Starter Cade Povich went 5.2 frames with three earned runs.
It’ll be Cole Irvin in the starting pitcher role for the Orioles on Tuesday. This year Irvin is 6-3 with a 3.45 ERA in 14 Games (12 starts). Irvin has a career record of 28-37 with a 4.28 ERA in 119 Games (89 starts).

Baltimore Orioles vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Orioles. Irvin needs a bounce-back start, though. In his last outing Irvin put up five earned in 4.2 innings during a no-decision versus the Yankees. He had five earned in 11.1 innings prior to that. As for Allen, he’s given up six earned over his last 17.0 innings and should do pretty well here.
On Monday the Orioles had a few flashes on offense here and there but overall it was a tepid evening at the plate. The good news is that the pen was great, giving up zero earned, one hit and one walk with seven Ks in 3.1 innings. Baltimore should be fine if they can get the bats going in Game two.
