Arne Engels’ “Magical” Insta Message After First Celtic Goal
It was a “magical day” for Arne Engels as he scored his first goals in Celtic colours in his first start.
Engels, Celtic’s record signing following his transfer from Augsburg, was a class above the rest throughout his first start for Celtic, and was awarded man of the match.
His goal came from the penalty spot, confidently converting to give Celtic the lead. He took it well, rolling it into the bottom corner and sending Craig Gordon the other way.
Taking to Instagram, Engels posted:

The Game ended with a 2-0 victory, continuing Celtic’s perfect start to the season with six wins from six Games across all comPetitions.
The Unseen Hatate/Engels Moment
When Celtic were awarded the penalty, Reo Hatate had the ball under his arm and looked set to take the spot kick. But after Callum McGregor had a quiet word with the Japanese midfielder, the ball was handed over to the Belgian international with no fuss or big scene made.
In the past, we’ve seen Reo take penalties and find the back of the net, and with no Adam Idah on the pitch at the time, the obvious choice for penalty-taker was Celtic’s number 41. But now, it seems that Celtic could have another option in the squad.
