Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have gotten off to a terrible start so far this season.

As things presently stand, they are 1-5 through their first six games and Antetokounmpo is really ticked off about it.

First he called out Doc Rivers early last week. Then over the weekend, he refused to sit next to his teaMMAtes during a particularly brutal defeat.

The situation seems to be going from bad to worse.

In addition, on Friday, Antetokounmpo’s camp leaked out the two teams he would be willing to accept a trade to.

On Sunday, a report surfaced suggesting that a blockbuster trade could solve everybody’s problems.

In the proposed deal, Antetokounmpo would head to Golden State. In return, Milwaukee would receive Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandon Podziemski, De’Anthony Melton and four unprotected first rounders.

“For Golden State, acquiring Giannis would be a monumental move, giving them a defensive powerhouse and a versatile scorer who could adapt seamlessly to their style of play,” the report noted.

“Paired with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, Giannis’ athleticism and inside dominance would perfectly complement the Warriors’ three-point shooting prowess.”

What does Milwaukee get out of this? Well, the draft capital that comes with four unprotected first rounders speaks for itself.

But beyond that, they would also be getting a solid combination of role players and young talent.

“On the Bucks’ side, this package would provide a foundation for a rapid rebuild,” the report continued.

“Wiggins is a proven All-Star with championship experience, capable of stepping into a leading role in Milwaukee. Kuminga, a versatile forward with significant upside, would thrive with more playing time and could develop into a cornerstone for the franchise.

“Podziemski, a skilled shooter with great court vision, offers additional promise as a future guard option. De’Anthony Melton, a defensive-minded guard, would add depth and defensive stability to the Bucks’ backcourt.”

Will this trade actually occur? Time will tell. But as the Bucks keep on losing, it is increasingly getting harder and harder to shake the feeling that Antetokounmpo might be on his way out.
