EPL pick today: Liverpool vs Arsenal – Over 2.5 goals (-160), 11:30 am ET

Arsenal is showing no signs of nerves with the finish line and the Premier League title in sight. The Gunners’ 4-1 hammering of Leeds last Saturday was the second straight game in which they had posted 4 goals and the young Gunners continue to play with a swagger.

The league leaders have failed to score in a league Game only twice this season and have fired in 28 goals in their last 9 road Games. Goals are coming from all angles and this matchup has been a lively affair in recent years.

It was 3-2 to Arsenal when the teams met in London earlier this season, while Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners in this matchup last season. For that reason, backing the over will be our best bet.

MLB pick today: Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 over Oakland Athletics (-140), 1:10 pm ET

Tampa is not only undefeated, but they have won every Game by at least four runs. That hasn’t happened to open a season since the 1800s, and no team has had a run like this at all since the 1939 Yankees.

There’s no reason to think the run will stop this afternoon. Tampa’s offense is clicking, and Oakland’s James Kaprielian is unlikely to  be the one who magically shuts them down. For that reason, backing the Rays on the run line will be our best bet.

XFL pick today: San Antonio Brahmas vs Houston Renegades – Under 40 points (-110), 2:00 pm ET

Houston and San Antonio have already played once this season and the score was 22-13 to Houston. The Brahmas have played good defense this year and held teams to an average of 16 points per game. San Antonio struggles to score and averages 14.4 points per game.

The Brahmas are one of the worst offensive teams in the league but their defense keeps them in games. This total is understandably low; however, backing the under will be our play for this afternoon.

XFL pick today: DC Defenders +2 over Seattle Sea Dragons (-110), 7:00 pm ET

Week 8 of the XFL season will conclude tonight as the Seattle Sea Dragons host the DC Defenders. The Defenders’ offense, led by former Texas A&M quarterback Jordan Ta’amu, is elite and has produced at least 28 points in 5 straight games. Ta’amu puts up some big numbers, but what makes him most valuable is how rarely he turns the ball over. He has thrown only 1 interception all season, and that was all the way back in the team’s first game.

Seattle’s quarterback, Ben DiNucci, has thrown at least 1 interception in all but 1 Game this season and has 5 over his past 3 contests. For that reason, backing the Defenders to cover will be our play.
