Sherée Whitfield says ‘RHOA’ is sinking after Kenya Moore exit: ‘They need an OG’
Kenya Moore is gone with the wind and it isn’t fabulous.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Sherée Whitfield made that clear when she was spotted shopping in the Peach Tree State over the weekend.
The 54-year-old, who recently parted ways with the Bravo series for the third time, reacted to the news of Moore’s own exit from the show.
“I hate to see my girl Kenya go out like that,” Whitfield, who was a full-time cast member during Seasons 1-4, 9-10 and 14-15, told TMZ.
“As an OG, it’s kind of hard to sit back and watch the show kind of slowly sink the way it is, so I’m not happy. I don’t like it.”
Midway through filming Season 16, Bravo parted ways with Moore after she allegedly shared photos of newcomer Brittany Eady performing oral sex on camera.
A source previously told Page Six that Moore’s actions came after Eady had allegedly made threats to Moore using the word “gun,” which made cast members feel “uncomfortable.”
However, a production source denied to us that Moore had ever been threatened with a weapon, and Eady also took to social media to dispel those rumors.
Meanwhile, Moore has maintained that what she allegedly did to Eady was not considered “revenge porn” and she is innocent.
“The rumors and narrative about me randomly showing nudes or revenge p is 1000% untrue. I have proof and will share soon,” she said.
A source also told TMZ Tuesday that Moore is considering her legal options following her departure from Bravo.
“Kenya is a savage,” Whitfield further said. “I know she’s not going down easy or quick, so I’m just going to sit back and wait and see what happens.”
As for the show’s future, Whitfield said, “An OG’s presence is always welcome … always needed on the series — no matter what capacity.”
She’d “never say never” to returning and filling the hole that Moore left, but for her, it’d take the “right” amount of money.
After all, she revealed she left ahead of Season 16 because “[The money] wasn’t right.”
Moore, who has also received support from her former co-star Kandi Burruss, joined “RHOA” in 2012, and she remained a part of the show for 11 seasons.
