Report: Celtic’s Dundee Allocation Not Cut as Alternative Ticketing Plan in Place
An alternative plan is in place for some Celtic end tickets for the Hoops’ trip to Dundee next weekend.
Celtic fans were concerned that their allocation for the upcoming match at Dens Park against Dundee seemed to have been reduced.
The initial ticket distribution suggested a decrease from 3,737 tickets, the number received for the Boxing Day fixture, to just 3,323 for the forthcoming clash. However, this change has been clarified and rectified.
Contrary to concerns, Dundee has not actually reduced the number of tickets available to Celtic fans.
The misunderstanding arose from a new arrangement aiming to prevent away fans from mixing with home supporters. Dundee will now handle the sale of tickets for local Celtic supporters directly, ensuring they do not end up in home sections of the stadium. [Football Scotland]
This approach ensures that the overall number of Celtic fans attending the Game could potentially reach or even exceed the 4,200 mark, should all sections sell out as anticipated.
However, it does mean that some Celtic fans who were able to get tickets for the Boxing Day clash will miss out.
