After coming away from Ibrox with a more than deserved point, Celtic face St. Mirren at Parkhead tomorrow afternoon in their final Scottish Premiership Game before the annual split.

Nothing but securing three points will be on the agenda of manager Brendan Rodgers as he looks to take his side four clear at the summit of the table for Saturday night.

Ahead of the Game, we offer a predicted lineup.

Goalkeeper and Defence

From Sunday’s derby, there will be no changes to the rearguard. Joe Hart will keep his place between the sticks as will Greg Taylor, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liam Scales, and Alistair Johnston in front of him.

Midfield

Callum McGregor completed only part of Thursday’s session at Lennoxtown and won’t start this one.

Instead, Tomoki Iwata will continue in the middle of the park along with Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate, both of whom were particularly effective at times on Sunday.

Paulo Bernardo and the skipper can impact the Game from the bench.

Attack

Nicolas Kuhn will take up his regular place on the right wing. It is difficult to drop Kyogo Furuhashi but after making a positive impact on the derby, I believe Adam Idah will get the nod here.

Out on the left, there is a dileMMA. Daizen Maeda didn’t partake in training on Thursday but Luis Palma is set to return this weekend.

Due to this, I back the Honduran internationalist, who Brendan Rodgers has widely trusted this season, to come straight back into the starting eleven, unless Maeda does prove to be available.

From the bench, several players can make a difference. Yang, Bernardo, and James Forrest could all come on and contribute to a Game that is as pivotal as ever in the title race.

Predicted Celtic XI to play St. Mirren: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, Iwata, Hatate, O’Riley, Kuhn, Palma, Idah.
