Pearl Jam drummer remembers receiving cease-and-desist letter from KISS as a teen
Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron has recalled receiving a cease-and-desist letter from KISS when he was a youngster.

Talking on the Howard Stern Present to advertise Pearl Jam’s newest album ‘Darkish Matter’, Cameron – who was additionally in Soundgarden – instructed the story about assembly KISS when he was younger and the way that resulted in him getting a cease-and-desist just a few months later.

Nonetheless, Cameron attributes the letter to him and his bandmates marking the error of not naming their tribute band appropriately: “I believe we simply referred to as [our] band KISS. We didn’t actually assume forward there. So after that, we had ‘KISS’ and in parentheses: ‘Imitation’”.
