Let’s dive into my SGP bet now!

Anthony Edwards Over 25.5 Points (-104)

Bradley Beal Over 4.5 Assists (-156)

Rudy Gobert Over 12.5 Rebounds (-128)

Same Game Parlay odds: +434

Anthony Edwards Over 25.5 Points (-104)

Ant-man has arrived and he’s here to stay. Edwards exploded in Game 1, producing highlight after highlight and leading the Timberwolves to an impressive 120-95 win. He went at Kevin Durant on both ends and finished the game with a very efficient 33 points, including 4 threes made. The Suns are expected to speed things up in Game 2 as that’s how they were able to beat Minnesota 3 times in the regular season, that should benefit everyone’s numbers here, including Edwards. A faster pace also means less minutes for Jusuf Nurkic who is the Suns’ only interior defender here. He averaged just 23.3 mins per game in 3 regular season meetings, with him out the way Edwards will attack the basket even more than he did in the series opener. Until they slow him down, I’m going to continue backing Ant-man to fill it up.

Bradley Beal Over 4.5 Assists (-156)

Beal has taken on more of a distributor role ever since he arrived in Phoenix mid-way through the regular season and that’s carried over to the postseason as well. He cleared this line fairly easily over the weekend, finishing with 6 dimes. In his last 10 meetings with Minnesota, Beal has failed to clear this line only twice, while averaging 5.6 assists per Game during that stretch. This Suns roster is filled with quality shot makers. KD and Booker are clearly the first and second scoring options, while Grayson Allen, Royce O’Neale and Eric Gordon are all capable shooters. Those 3 role players combined to shoot just 5-for-18 from the field and 4-for-15 from downtown on Sunday, surely that type of inefficiency won’t happen in back-to-back Games. If Beal can get to 6 assists with his teaMMAtes shooting just 9-for-28 from three-point land (32%), I feel very confident he can repeat that performance in Game 2.

Rudy Gobert Over 12.5 Rebounds (-128)

Gobert absolutely dominated the match-up with Nurkic in the series opener finishing with 16 rebounds, including 6 on the offensive end. He’s averaging 13.4 rebounds per game in his last 10 meetings with Nurk, dating back to 2021. During that stretch’s he’s had 3 games of 20+ rebounds, his length is just too much for the Bosnian center to handle. One of the Suns’ biggest weaknesses this season is allowing opponents to get offensive rebounds. They ranked just 18th in the NBA in opponent offensive rebounds percentage at 24.5%. That number is up to 30.1% in their last 3 games, very concerning if you’re head coach Frank Vogel. The DPOY candidate Gobert should have another field day rebounding the ball here.
