‘Love Is Blind’ star Chelsea Blackwell asks fans to ‘cool it’ after getting ‘dragged’ over Megan Fox comparison

Chelsea Blackwell brushed off the haters after facing backlash for comparing herself to Megan Fox on Season 6 of “Love Is Blind.”

Blackwell smiled in a video shared to her TikTok on Sunday as she showed off her indie-style outfit to Led Zeppelin’s hit, “Immigrant Song.”

“Go on a show to find love > get your ass dragged,” the Netflix personality captioned the post.

The flight attendant also re-posted a statement from her friend that pointed out how “mean” viewers can be.

“People are so mean here on the internet and take reality TV way too seriously,” Presley Carter wrote on her Instagram Story. “Like it’s a show y’all, we need to cool it.”

Carter said critics should understand that contestants on the dating show are “real people with feelings and emotions.”

“We’re ALL imperfect, all trying our best. Please respect the cast through this,” she wrote.

Carter also pointed out the “AMAZING” editing that goes into producing the “drama” of the show and reminded her followers not to “judge others.”

Blackwell — who has dark hair, blue eyes and tattoos like Fox — faced an onslaught of trolling for telling her love interest in the pods, Jimmy Presnell, that she’s often told she looks like the “Midnight in the Switchgrass” actress.

“It’s just because I have dark hair and blue eyes. But I don’t see it, so don’t get excited,” she told Presnell, who later ends up proposing to her, sight unseen.

Presnell also formed a connection in the pods with Jessica Vestal while Blackwell captured the heart of Trevor Sova.

After Presnell and Blackwell revealed their faces to each other, he proposed to her; however, he later admitted in a confessional that she “lied” about her looks.

“She definitely lied to me about some, uh, how she looked,” Presnell said in the show. “Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. I am very attracted to her. I can work with that.”

While some Twitter users blasted Blackwell for the inaccurate comparison, others defended her and said they could see why she chose Fox as her Celebrity doppelgänger.

Still, it’s unclear if Presnell will be able to see past Blackwell’s bungle, though teasers for future episodes of the show seemingly reveal that he reunites with Vestal — who is a mother of a 10-year-old daughter — and tells her that she is his “number one still.”

The trailer also shows Blackwell yelling, “I know you f–ked her.” Blackwell also seemingly reunites for a conversation with Sova in the upcoming episodes.

The next set of episodes will be available for streaming on Netflix Wednesday.
