LeBron James Gets Snippy With Reporters For Asking Him About Bronny

Bronny James’ poor preseason play appears to be irritating LeBron James.

Coming into this year, LeBron seemed very excited to talk about playing alongside his eldest son on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Unfortunately, after multiple unimpressive showings on Bronny’s part – the excitement seems to have worn thin.

This week LeBron snapped at a reporter for continuously asking him about Bronny.

“Unfortunately, I don’t know… Has he talked to him? Well, you gotta ask him. He’s a grown man, ask him how he’s handling it. He’s a grown man, a professional, and he can handle it, and answer these questions himself. But you know why, good or bad, why the attention is here,” LeBron said.

While LeBron’s frustration here is understandable, he and Bronny brought this on themselves in several ways.

One, they are the ones who forced his way onto the Lakers. Had they let this process play out, maybe Bronny would have been a pro, maybe he wouldn’t. But either way, it would have been on his own merit.

Two, they are the ones who turned it into a spectacle. If it feels like a circus, it’s because they made it one.

Eventually people will get tired of the LeBron-Bronny story and stop paying attention to it organically, but currently we’re not at that point yet.
