Kimora Lee sidesteps daughter Aoki’s romance with Vittorio Assaf to celebrate model’s BCBG campaign

Kimora Lee Simmons is turning the spotlight to Aoki Lee Simmons’ modeling career as the 21-year-old’s controversial romance with a much-older man comes to an end.

The Baby Phat designer posted photos from her daughter’s BCBG Max Azria campaign via Instagram Tuesday.

“Congrats to my baby,” Kimora, 48, gushed. “Stunning and beautiful! 🌟😍♥️”

She called the Harvard grad “stunning and beautiful.”

The “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane” alum has yet to comment directly on Aoki’s short-lived romance with restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, 65 — which her followers were quick to point out in the comments.

One Instagram user even referred to Kimora as a “master deflector.”

Others, however, praised the former reality star for putting “the focus” on the Harvard University grad’s “amazing work” as a model.

Page Six exclusively published photos on Friday of bikini-clad Aoki locking lips with Assaf during a St. Bart’s getaway.

Fans expressed “concern” for the “disgusting” PDA — especially as an Instagram Live video from the high-profile vacation went viral.

While Assaf did not show his face in the footage, he could be heard telling Aoki that she was his “favorite part” of the trip.

Kimora did not directly address the romance at the time but posted a telling clip to her Instagram Story of a panda bear and her cub.

“On my last nerve right now,” the Businesswoman wrote.

As for her ex-husband, Russell Simmons told TMZ that he doesn’t plan to “kick and scream” over Aoki’s love life.

The former reality star was on her “last nerve.”

The record executive, 66, said, “All I can do is offer my advice and unconditional love.”

A source clarified to Page Six Monday that the duo have split and were “never” actually together, with Aoki writing on her Story the following day that she felt “depresso espresso.”

She is the youngest of Kimora and Russell’s children as the former couple also share 24-year-old daughter Ming Lee Simmons.
