Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has now removed the social media post in which he claimed he had been made a 'scapegoat' after being dropped by manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho was dropped by Ten Hag for their Premier League defeat at Arsenal and claimed after the Game that the winger's disappointing performances in training had forced his hand.

Sancho reacted by taking to social media to voice his annoyance with the comments from Ten Hag and claimed he was being used as a 'scapegoat'.

Sancho had pinned the message at the top of his X account, but now he has made the decision to take it down, adhering to United's wishes. 90min understands that United management, coaching staff and teammates had advised Sancho to remove the post.

Sancho met with Ten Hag for the first time since his post on Monday. During the last week, the winger was also the subject of interest from the Saudi Pro League as Al Ettifaq made contact, but a deal could not be finalised.

It now remains to be seen when Sancho will be reintegrated back into the United first team after the international break, with Ten Hag's side set to take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

The Sancho fiasco came at a time in which United have also been forced to address allegations against another winger, Antony, who is currently in Brazil facing accusations of assault made by three women, including his former partner.
