Hulkenberg forced into pit lane start for Azerbaijan GP
Nico Hulkenberg will start the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from the pit lane after making a set-up change under parc ferme conditions.
The team confirmed in a statement: "Due to a required set-up change Hulkenberg will start today’s race from pit lane."
In a separate document, the FIA stated that Haas were making a change of the "set-up of the suspension" prior to the race later.
Teams have found it harder to make set-up changes this weekend owing to the new Sprint format, after having just one hour of practice on Friday before putting the cars into parc ferme later in the afternoon before qualifying.
As a result of the changes Hulkenberg sacrifices his P17 start on the grid for the Grand Prix, and will join Esteban Ocon in the pit lane for the start of the race.
