Willie Collum has been confirmed as the referee for the highly anticipated Glasgow Derby this Saturday at Celtic Park, where Celtic and Rangers will face off in a pivotal match that could determine the direction of this season’s Scottish Premiership title.

The Scottish Football Association announced that Collum will oversee the 12:30 PM kick-off.

Rangers raised their concerns about the whistler who was on VAR for the last Glasgow Derby at Parkhead, demanding he would never referee them again. This is the first league Game with Rangers he’s refereed since then.

Collum will be joined by assistant referees David McGeachie and Ross Macleod, with Don Robertson serving as the fourth official.

Steven McLean is on VAR and assisted by Graeme Stewart.

Celtic, who are currently leading the league, can potentially extend their lead to six points with only six more points available after this match, essentially securing their title in the Premiership if they win. This scenario places enormous pressure not only on the players and coaching staff but also on the officials to ensure a fair and smoothly conducted match.
