Married since 2020, singer Falak Shabir and his wife, actor Sarah Khan, are always one step ahead in the Game of grand gestures, proving that a happy marriage might just require a little bit of humour, thoughtfulness, and—according to Shabir's latest advice—doing exactly what your wife wants.

The Billo Rani singer recently took to his Instagram Stories to share his secret to marital bliss. With a bit of tongue-in-cheek wisdom, he wrote, "If you want to stay happy, listen to your heart first, then listen to your head. After that, have a good think about it—then listen to your wife."

This advice comes fresh off the heels of his latest grand gesture: surprising Khan with her dream farmhouse. Shabir had secretly been building the farmhouse and, now that it's complete, he brought Khan and their daughter, Alyana, to see the fruits of his labour. "All this is yours, and now we can spend time here," he said in his vlog, giving us all a glimpse of their joyous family moment.

Earlier this year, Khan faced online criticism for posting a seemingly innocent image, depicting her toddler with cherries smeared all over her clothes, face, and floor. The photo was captioned "my cheeky baby" accompanied by cherry and heart emojis.

However, the post quickly went viral, drawing criticism from social media users who schooled the actress to teach her daughter proper eating manners. One user commented, "We should teach our children not to waste food. Throwing food on the floor is disrespectful, especially when millions are starving." Another user added, "Sure, they are just kids, but it is the parent's responsibility to teach them how to eat properly and not share such images on social media."

Khan responded, questioning if it was reasonable to expect her two-year-old daughter to understand such concepts. "Do you expect a two-year-old to eat like an adult?" she asked, expressing her frustration. "Please, let children be children."
