Furue also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Furue is currently ranked third in driving accuracy (87.1%), first in total birdies made (130), seventh in overall scoring average (70.2), and 17th in putting average (28) on the LPGA Tour.

Ayaka Furue has played well at the Wilshire Country Club in the past. More specifically, Furue finished fourth at the 2023 JM Eagle LA Championship.

Maja Stark $8,000

Maja Stark arrives at this week’s event in rather good form. Maja Stark has accumulated two top three finishes in her last three events played on the LPGA Tour, including a second-place result at last week’s 2024 Chevron Championship.

Due to the fact that Maja Stark posted a quality finish at last week’s first major championship of the year I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player data for the event to see how Stark fared relative to the field.

Marina Alex has accumulated three consecutive top 30 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including an 18th place result at the 2024 T-Mobile Match Play Championship three weeks ago.

It should also be noted that Marina Alex finished tenth at the 2022 JM Eagle LA Championship.
