What year did Michael Jackson perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?

The NFL had been struggling to get things right at the Super Bowl Halftime Show and in 1992 they let the experts at Radio City Productions do what theyd did best. They pitched the idea of Michael Jackson, the biggest artist on the planet, giving a 15-minute mini-concert, fully choreographed, meticulously produced for broadcast with special video effects, fireworks and trap doors.

After Michael Jackson’s show, performers had to dig deep to try and come close to the performance that he gave. Ever since his show at the 1993 Super Bowl, singers, groups and musical artists have tried their best to match that Game-changing performance. That show, over 30 years ago, changed the way we conceive the Super Bowl Halftime Show and is one of, if not, the best shows in the History of NFL’s biggest Game.
