Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has got under the skin of Rangers gaffer Philippe Clement, in the eyes of Chris Sutton.

The former Hoops centre-forward turned pundit believes the Parkhead boss is in the mind of the Belgian.

Indeed, after Celtic’s dominative 3-0 win over Hearts on Saturday, the Irishman claimed that his side will work hard during the week and have some fun in the upcoming Glasgow derby.

This rattled Clement who, after his team’s 4-1 win at home to Kilmarnock, brought up Rodgers’ comments unprompted.

He said his team would also have some fun as he looked visibly ruffled. Sutton believes Rodgers’ mind Games have worked a treat.

He said: [Sky Sports via Football Scotland] “Brendan has got under his (Clement’s) skin.

“When he first came in he was always calm and composed but he is feeling the pressure.”

As things have cranked up in the Scottish Premiership title race, Rangers have crumbled. They had to win two Games in hand last month, but they faltered and handed the advantage to Celtic.

When it has mattered most, they have failed to deliver but to win the title, there is still work to do for the Bhoys.

Saturday’s Game cannot be taken for granted as in Glasgow derbies, anything can happen.

It will undoubtedly be an arduous Game, but Celtic know what lies behind it if they can come away victorious.
