Best Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown scorer bets: George Pickens finds paydirt | Pickswise

In what could be one of the best games of Week 5, the Dallas Cowboys will travel to Pittsburgh for a date against the Steelers in a pivotal primetime matchup on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers are coming off a loss to the Colts while the Cowboys have had a bit of extra rest after narrowly defeating the Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 4. The handicap on this game seems to be a solid spot to buy Pittsburgh, but that’s not what I’ll be focusing on in this piece.

Be sure to also check out our Cowboys vs Steelers predictions, but now let’s take a look at my favorite anytime touchdown scorer picks for this primetime Game, which includes a pair of wide receivers.

George Pickens, WR, PIT (+175 at FanDuel)

The breakout season is finally here for George Pickens, and what a start to the season it has been. The Steelers best offensive player has racked up 34% of the team’s receiving yards and holds a target share of nearly 30% on the season. Pickens just tallied 113 yards on 7 catches against the Colts, and he has another great matchup in store against a Dallas Cowboys defense that is extremely banged up and plays a ton of zone coverage. Pickens is terrific against zone coverage and with the Cowboys’ injury issues at the corner position, I’d expect the Steelers top receiver to see plenty of looks throughout this Game. Even if Pittsburgh doesn’t make it into the red zone often on Sunday, I’d still think that Justin Fields will be looking for Pickens in the end zone when it matters most.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, DAL (+115 at FanDuel)

This season has been somewhat of a failure to launch for the Cowboys ground Game, but what has been consistent is CeeDee Lamb and this Dallas passing attack. Lamb has established himself as one of the top receivers in Football, and he’s clearly the engine that makes this offense go, even if Dak Prescott is operating at the controls of this offense. While Lamb was bottled up until last week’s Game against the Giants, I do think that he builds off that Game with a solid effort against a Pittsburgh secondary that is certainly the weakness of this defense, especially compared to T.J. Watt and that fearsome Steelers defensive front. The Steelers were just picked on by Joe Flacco a week ago, so this should be a spot where Lamb gets his looks early and often in a massive primetime Game. At plus money, I’ll gladly take the Cowboys offensive engine to find the end zone and I’d expect him to be targeted heavily by Prescott throughout this Game.
