Bang & Olufsen Appoints F1 Driver Charles Leclerc as Global Brand Ambassador
Formula 1 fans, take note: Luxury audio brand Bang & Olufsen has announced Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc as its new global brand ambassador.
Established in 1925 in Struer, Denmark by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, this audio brand has always sat at the forefront of innovation, and so, its long-standing placement within the F1 space, and partnership with Leclerc is a natural fit.
Marking the start of the collaboration, B&O and Leclerc will come together to drive conversations around sound, produce creative campaigns and events, and unveil limited-edition products.
What we know about Charles Leclerc and his role as global brand ambassador for Bang & Olufsen
The Monégasque driver may be regarded as one of the most talented F1 drivers of the current generation, but Leclerc has built a reputation as a talented musician with a passion for playing the piano, composing and recording his own music.
On the importance of sound, he says, “My professional life is all about precision and performance, and sound plays an important part in that. The cars I am driving are engineering marvels, and the sounds they produce inform me of the split-second decisions I need to take. This close attention to sound has trained my ear to listen differently, so quality of sound plays a vital role in my life. When I listen to music, I want a clarity in sound and a balance in tuning that reveals the music in new ways and brings me closer to the artist.”

He continues, “I have been a fan of Bang & Olufsen for many years, and I use their products every day. The brand has a clarity and warmth in their sound that helps me disconnect from the racing world and brings me to a place where I feel connected to the artist. That is why the partnership is such a natural fit.”
At the centre of the collaboration are beautiful sound experiences, for which B&O is famous, and its CEO Kristian Teär explains, “We are delighted to welcome Charles to the brand. We share the same appreciation for performance and craftsmanship and have a shared passion for music experiences that gets us closer to the artists we love. We can’t think of a better partner to help us evolve and create a community around beautiful sound.”
A long-standing relationship between Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari
This sits alongside the renewal of Bang & Olufsen’s partnership with Scuderia Ferrari for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, as it will again be a featured brand on Ferrari’s SF-24 Formula 1 car with prominent logo placement. Plus it’ll continue to work closely with the Maranello Team to build immersive sound experiences trackside and in Bang & Olufsen stores worldwide.

Going beyond the racing division, this year has seen the two brands launch special edition products, specifically the Beosound 2 Ferrari Edition, Beoplay Ex Ferrari Edition and Beoplay H95 Ferrari Edition.
Teär says, “Like Ferrari, we have a proud History of world-class performance, innovation, and exceptional craftsmanship. In the past year, we have shown Ferrari brand lovers and the Formula 1 community the immersive experiences our products can deliver, and I’m pleased we can continue working together to create even more magical moments.”
