Last year, the Jets ended a 15-game losing streak to the Patriots with a 17-3 victory at Gillette Stadium. Now, they aim to break another streak—New England’s eight-game winning run at MetLife Stadium.

The Jets feel great after their 24-17 road win against the Tennessee Titans. They rushed for 101 yards and scored one touchdown. Rookie running back Brillan Allen had an outstanding Game, scoring the first two touchdowns of his career—one rushing and one receiving. Allen also made History by becoming the youngest player in 94 years to score a touchdown from scriMMAge.

New England’s defense without tackle Lowe and left guard Sow

The New England Patriots will face a tough challenge from more than just quarterback Aaron Rodgers in their upcoming game. Running back Breece Hall is in fine form, with 52 receiving yards, 62 rushing yards, and a touchdown in his last game. He has scored a touchdown in five consecutive games, the second-longest active streak in the NFL. In their previous meeting in January, Hall rushed for a career-high 178 yards and sealed the game with a 50-yard touchdown.

Although the Patriots have a strong run defense, allowing under 100 yards rushing in their first two games and ranking second in the NFL for rushing yards allowed per game and third for rushing yards allowed per play, they will be without left tackle Vederian Lowe due to a knee injury and starting left guard Sidy Sow due to an ankle issue. Rookie third-round pick Caedan Wallace will step in to protect quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s blindside against the Jets. Previously a swing tackle, Wallace will now have to use his summer practice at left tackle due to injuries and departures on the team.

Both the Jets and Patriots are 1-1 and seeking their first AFC East win of the season. This game is expected to be highly competitive as both teams aim to gain early control in the divisional race.
