Ted Scott is an accomplished Golfer with considerable experience in professional mini-tours. Despite not achieving the desired success as a player, he has found his niche as a caddy, utilizing the insights and skills gained from his own playing days to provide exceptional caddying services on the Golf course.

Scott has also coached other players on and off the course, a career path he considered after splitting with Watson. When Scheffler wanted to hire him, Scott decided it would be the best choice, and it has worked out well. Fellow tour pros have commented on how much Scheffler’s Game has improved since Ted Scott started working with him, helping him reach the top of the Official World Golf Rankings. However, Scott needed to be persuaded that Scheffler was the right man to work with.

As Scheffler’s caddie, Scott has achieved the second-highest number of Masters wins by a caddie. With Scheffler’s early 2024 success, it’s estimated that his caddie earned around $1.7 million from the beginning of the year until the US Open held in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
