When do the US women golfers play? Tee times for Korda, Vu and Zhang at the 2024 Olympics in Paris
There have been only three women’s individual golf tournaments at the Olympic Games, with the United States having won two of them. The Olympic women’s golf event will be contested at Le Golf National outside Paris. The 60 players will have two practice days following the conclusion of the men’s event. The format for golf is a 72-hole individual stroke play event. Unlike most tournaments, there is no halfway cut, so all 60 women should play all four rounds.
The field is as balanced as it’s ever been, with no country sending more than three representatives to Paris. In fact, the Republic of Korea is the only other nation sending three representatives to the Games, and all three Golfers are in the top 13 of the world rankings.
The United States women’s Golf team is headlined by two-time Olympian and Tokyo 2020 gold medalist Nelly Korda, who will have the chance to be the first Olympian Golfer to defend her title from the previous Games. World No. 2 Lilia Vu and No. 9 Rose Zhang will join the world’s highest-ranked female Golfer on Team USA.

The organizers will confirm the full schedule of groups and their starting tee times one day before the start of the tournament.
Apart from Nelly Korda, the frontrunner for the gold medal in Paris, the US Golfing fans can follow her compatriot Lilia Vu, who previously held the top spot in the world rankings. Vu’s outstanding performance in 2023, including four tournament victories, strengthened her position before being surpassed by Korda. Vu emerged victorious in June’s LPGA Classic after a compelling playoff with Grace Kim and Lexi Thompson, and she also achieved a tied second position in the Women’s PGA, finishing just behind Amy Yang.
Rose Zhang, aged 21, completes the trio representing Team USA. She made a remarkable professional debut by clinching victory in last year’s Americas Open. Subsequently, Zhang’s triumph in May’s Founders Cup propelled her into the top 10 of the world rankings.
