Washington Nationals vs NY Mets Prediction
I’ll probably try the Mets here. Also probably not touching it. Megill hasn’t had any luck in the win column over his last three starts, but he’s still pitching pretty well. In that trio Megill is 0-2 with three earned runs on 10 hits and six walks in 16.0 combined innings of work. If Megill can notch a quality outing on Monday the Mets should be set up well.
On Sunday the Mets scored all of their runs in the third inning on a tepid five team hits. New York still had a late lead before coughing up two runs in the ninth, though. The Mets used a lot of arms in the loss so Megill will need to go fairly deep into this one.
