EPL pick today: Manchester United ML over Chelsea (-155), 3:00 pm ET

Manchester United knows that just a point from this afternoon’s home EPL game with Chelsea will be enough to secure a place in the Champions League next season, but the Red Devils should be confident they can achieve much more than that against the beleaguered Blues.

Speaking of Chelsea, it has been a miserable campaign for the London club, which is waiting for the arrival of new manager Mauricio Pochettino and they have won just 2 of their last 13 road games. Given Chelsea’s struggles and the United defense which has been strong at home, backing Manchester United to win will be our play.

MLB pick today: San Diego Padres vs Washington Nationals – Under 9.5 runs (-118), 4:05 pm ET

To finish up this series, the Padres will start Blake Snell, while the Nationals will counter with Jake Irvin. Both starters have been below average this season, but it is also worth noting that both of these offenses are in the bottom quarter of the league in terms of runs per game. Because we have two struggling offenses and what looks to be a pitcher-friendly weather day, backing the under will be our best play.

NHL pick today: Baltimore Orioles vs New York Yankees – Over 9 runs (-115), 7:05 pm ET

Tonight’s pitching matchup will see Kyle Gibson of the Orioles, who holds an ERA of 4.27 take on the Yankees’ Clarke Schmidt, who has an ERA of 6.00. In 10 starts this year, Schmidt has allowed at least 3 runs in 7 of the 10 starts – and that includes against the Orioles.

Meanwhile, Yankees’ offense is starting to heat up and has had success against Gibson in the past. With a pair of hittable pitchers and surging offenses, backing the over will be our play.

NBA pick today: Miami Heat +8 over Boston Celtics (-112), 8:30 pm ET

The Boston Celtics were able to avoid a sweep as they defeated the Miami Heat in Game 4, 116-99 on Tuesday night. What caused the Heat to lose the 9-point lead they had in the 3rd quarter was giving up a lot of 3 pointers and more importantly, turnovers as they had 16 in the game.

Tonight, the Heat are underdogs, and in that role, have been covering not only in this series, but the entire playoffs. They have won 3 straight games outright as an underdog and in the last 11 games, have covered 9 out of 11 games. These two teams are evenly matched, so for that reason, backing the Heat to cover will be our best bet.
