The Last Of Us Episode 6 Accidentally Includes Film Crew In One Shot

The Last Of Us' HBO adaptation aired its sixth episode on Sunday. Spoilers ahead if you're not caught up on the show. Fans have also spotted a spoiler of a different variety, highlighting a shot where members of the camera crew can be seen.

If you didn't notice the mistake, don't kick yourselves. It's pretty hard to spot, but at least one viewer has picked it out and shared it with Neil Druckmann. “Brilliant episode. Something you might want to fix and reupload though. You can see the film crew in this shot,” Scott Jones tweeted.

If you look closely at the screenshot attached to the tweet, you'll see a handful of crew members under the snowy trees. Clearly trying to stay hidden, but plain for all to see once they have been pointed out. Druckmann hasn't responded to the mistake yet, but as the fan who spotted it first has noted, the beauty of today's television is that the mistake can be amended even after it has aired.

In fact, it wouldn't be surprising if the shot gets tweaked without anyone in an official capacity addressing it at all. Screenshots of it will be on the internet forever, of course, but by the time others watch it on HBO Max, there may well be nothing to see. It certainly isn't the first time a mistake like this has been made on a big-budget HBO show. Game of Thrones fans will reference Daenerys's rogue Starbucks cup until the end of time.

Tiny mistake aside, episode six appears to have been another homerun for The Last Of Us. The show continues to follow the first Game's story with a few well-received tweaks being thrown in. Joel and Ellie heading straight to Jackson, for instance, a location that isn't properly introduced to the Games until Part 2. It also seems as if Dina made a cameo in the new episode, someone viewers will likely get to know very well in season two.
