Taylor Swift makes a sweet nod to boyfriend Joe Alwyn as she wears his leather jacket during Grammys after-party

Taylor Swift subtly paid tribute to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn while partying after the Grammy Awards last week.

The hitmaker, 33, appeared to have borrowed a jacket from her actor beau for the bash, where she celebrated bagging the Best Music Video gong.

She donned a leather jacket with silver zip detailing, which Joe has been spotted wearing multiple times in the past.

Draping the leather jacket over both shoulders, the award-winner posed for snaps with singer Kelsea Ballerini and pop band Muna, made up of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson.

The small gesture comes as Taylor and Joe are notoriously private about their relationship, since beginning the romance in 2016.

Posing alongside her pals, Taylor donned the detachable-sleeve Lambskin Leather Jacket, which is by Celine Homme and retails for $4,650.

Her boyfriend Joe has been spotted wearing the garment multiple times before, including during an appearance at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.

Dressing it up, the All Too Well hitmaker layered it over a sequinned green dress while enjoying the night out.

And as band Muna shared the collection of snaps with Taylor to their 197K followers, many fans took to social media to gush over the small connection.

‘Taylor wearing Joe’s jacket is the epitome of romance to me,’ wrote on fan via Twitter.

While another echoed: ‘Not me being emotional because Taylor is wearing Joe’s jacket.’

And despite Taylor and Joe not sharing pictures together from the Grammy’s or the after-parties, many fans took the borrowing of Joe’s jacket as proof that he was partying with her, but kept it private.

Taylor was no doubt in the mood to celebrate after the Grammy Awards, which saw her yet again make history after winning Best Music Video for her romantic drama, All Too Well: The Short Film.

After becoming the first person to win the category with a sole directing credit for their own music video, the singer took to Twitter to react to the news.

‘I can’t put into words what this means to me. For The Recording Academy and my peers to acknowledge me as a director, and in doing so, acknowledge my work to try and reclaim my music… I’m blown away,’ she wrote.

This marks Swift’s 12th Grammy Award, after earning 46 nods through her career, which has spanned multiple genres and made her arguably the most famous pop star.

And Joe was sure to be ever the proud boyfriend too, who was even the inspiration for her recent track Lavender Haze.

Taylor began dating Joe in late 2016 after they were rumored to have crossed paths at that year’s Met Gala in New York City.

Joe told The Sunday Times in 2018 that he finds it ‘flattering’ that Taylor uses him as her musical muse.

Just two years later, Taylor welcomed her beau into the songwriting world by allowing him to pen lyrics for her 2020 alum, Folklore.

Using the pseudonym ‘William Bowery,’ Joe co-wrote two songs for the Grammy Award-winning album and three more songs for Folklore’s sister record Evermore.
