Shakira wows in plunging red corset dress and thigh high boots for sizzling duet with Blake Shelton at ACM Awards

When you hear the words country music, Shakira is not the first name that comes to mind.

But that didn’t matter on Sunday as the Colombian beauty took to the stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas to duet with her The Voice co-star Blake Shelton.

The duo performed their track Medicine from her self-тιтled new album and Shakira certainly dressed to impress in a Sєxy red Kristian Aadnevik bustier dress and thigh-high boots.

Blake ditched his blazer but appeared to be wearing the same waistcoat, shirt and jeans combination he took to the red carpet in.

They were the subject of a humorous introduction by Blake’s co-host Luke Bryan, who quipped: ‘Shakira speaks four languages. After two beers, Blake just has trouble with one.’

While Blake and Shakira’s performance sizzled with chemistry, both are happily loved up with other people.

And Shakira even tried to use Miranda to take down Blake on The Voice last month, after making no secret of her plan to mimic Blake’s tactics as closely as possible since he won three seasons in a row.

The Latina superstar turned to the one person who knows Blake better than anyone – the country star’s wife.

By getting Miranda as her adviser to help prep her contestants for the crucial battle rounds, Shakira picked Miranda’s brains on how best to tackle her husband.

‘I want to beat Blake, and you’re part of my master plan,’ Shakira told her, with Miranda happily replying: ‘Well you’ve come to the right place.’

‘She’s someone who has a lot of knowledge about Blake Shelton,’ Shakira later explained of her motivation in getting the country star on her side.

I’m going to take all the pointers from her to understand how to take that man down!’
Miranda clearly reveled in her new role.

‘I think it’s great that I can be a girl power advocate – going against my husband,’ she smiled.
