Shakira attends Islanders game, hangs with former ‘Voice’ colleague Daly

Pop superstar Shakira showed up on Long Island to suport the New York Islanders as they hosted the Washington Capitals on Saturday.

The Colombia-born singer, clad in a brown sweater and outstanding fuzzy white Islanders hat, posed for a picture with television personality Carson Daly during the game.

Daly, an Islanders fan known for frequenting Games, wore a fantastic Islanders Reverse Retro logo cap in the picture. Daly and Shakira are connected from their time on the popular televised singing compeтιтion “The Voice.” Daly hosted the NBC show during Shakira’s time as a judge.

Shakira was in the New York area on Friday as a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Fallon, whose show is based in Manhattan, has been known to supply some antics at New York Rangers Games but also finds time to support the Islanders.
