The Oakland A’s and the San Diego Padres meet Tuesday in MLB action from Petco Park. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this Game. Here’s an San Diego Padres vs Oakland Athletics Prediction.

Oakland A’s Recap
The Oakland A’s come into this Game looking to bounce back from a 6-1 loss to the Padres in Monday’s series opener, starting the series on the wrong foot after series losses to the Blue Jays, Mariners and Braves over the last week and a half.

Going into Monday’s action, Brent Rooker leads the A’s with 40 RBIs along with 13 home runs this season while Abraham Toro has a team-high 66 hits and 23 RBIs. JJ Bleday has a team-high 18 doubles, 56 hits and 24 RBIs and Toro has a .270 batting average. Rooker also has the unfortunate title of leading strikeout bat with 74 K’s at the dish this season. Padres Starting To Find Their Footing
Entering Monday’s opener, Jurickson Profar leads the Padres with 76 hits along with a .325 batting average and 12 doubles with 10 homers and 43 RBIs. Jake Cronenworth has 44 RBIs while Fernando Tatis Jr. has belted a team-high 12 home runs this season. - The Padres have covered the run line in each of their last eight games as home favorites against AL West opponents.

San Diego Padres vs Oakland Athletics Prediction
I’m going to take a shot on the A’s here. Oakland’s best shot at getting a win from starting pitching this season has been through Paul Blackburn (who’s still dealing with injury) and the aforementioned Sears and this might be Oakland’s best shot at a win in this series. The Padres still have their fair share of issues against left-handed pitching and while Oakland’s offense isn’t better at anything by any stretch, they’ve been able to rise to the occasion with Sears going here and I think they show some value in this spot as well. Give me the A’s.
