Resident Evil 4 Remake Gameplay Footage And Spoilers Shared Online

Resident Evil 4 isn't due out for a little over a week, but that hasn't stopped some players from getting a hold of their copies before everyone else. Just last week, we found out from a Resident Evil insider that copies of the Resident Evil 4 remake are "in the wild," with clips being circulated privately. Now it seems some of those clips have found their way onto social media. Beware, don't click the links ahead if you're looking to avoid spoilers. Then again, this is a remake, so if you've played the original Game, you should at least have a rough idea of what to expect.

A clip from TikTok shared on Reddit showcases a later portion of the Game, which I know I found to be pretty scary the first time around. We're going to stay as spoiler-free as possible, so no links, but you can find the clip pretty easily if you know where to look

Something else that's popped up is the Game's achievement list. A lot of them are exactly what you'd expect for completing various stages, but there are a few that sound quite intriguing to veterans of the original.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Villagers

Things are likely to get worse for Resident Evil 4 spoilers as the game doesn't officially release until March 24. In the meantime, there's a spoiler-free demo available now where you play through the game's tense opening moments armed with nothing but a knife and a pistol. There's also a hint of what Capcom might have added to the remake with a new difficulty called "Mad Chainsaw Mode." As the name implies, this will dial the enemy density and deadliness up to eleven and will almost guarantee a gruesome end for Leon.

We used to think that Mad Chainsaw Mode was only randomly available, but it turns out, there's a secret code that you can input in order to activate the new difficulty mode. Capcom specifically says in the notification that Mad Chainsaw Mode is exclusive to the demo, so don't expect it to be in the final Game.
