The Milwaukee Brewers and the Baltimore Orioles will begin an interleague series this Tuesday from American Family Field.

Orioles Betting Preview

Baltimore moved to 37-22 after taking two of three from San Francisco. The Orioles left the Bay with a five-run victory in Game three, and they’ll look for more interleague success here. The Baltimore offense is scoring 4.95 runs per Game, while batting .252, with a .329 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 4.09 ERA, with a 1.29 WHIP. Ryan Mountcastle has a hit in seven of the last nine Games, and he leads the O’s in homers (11), with 39 RBI. Anthony Santander had played strong against Cleveland, producing five runs and homering in the series finale to bring his splits to .260/9/33. Cedric Mullins is set to miss this series in San Francisco.

Kyle Gibson (7-3, 4.27 ERA, 41 Ks) will get the ball for Baltimore. The veteran righty earned his seventh win of the season last time out against Cleveland, despite allowing three runs in 5.2 innings pitched. Gibson cleaned up an early season skid by winning his third straight decision, and he’ll look to carry that momentum into Milwaukee this Tuesday.

Brewers Betting Preview

Milwaukee moved to 32-28 after taking three of four from. The Brewers opened the month with a strong showing in Cincy, and they’ll now return home for a week of interleague action. The Milwaukee offense is 4.56 scoring runs per Game, while batting .231, with a .307 on-base percentage. The pitching staff carries a 3.95 ERA, with a 1.31 WHIP. Owen Miller produced a pair of runs in the Game two win, and he leads Milwaukee in batting (.328). Christian Yelich has a hit in seven of the last ten Games, and he leads the Brewers in hits (48) and runs (36). Rowdy Tellez is hitless against his former team, but he leads the team in homers (12), with 26 RBI.

Freddy Peralta (5-5, 4.62 ERA, 61 Ks) will take the mound for Milwaukee. The sixth-year pitcher was solid in Toronto last week, going six full innings, but suffered his second straight losing decision. Peralta hasn’t been himself over his past four starts, allowing three runs or more in each spot during that span.

Baltimore vs Milwaukee Trends

Baltimore is 34-22 against the spread this season, with a 29-24-3 O/U record. Milwaukee is 28-28 ATS this year, with a 26-28-2 over/under record.

Corey’s Free Pick

Freddy P’s recent form makes it possible for Baltimore to come in and steal Game one. Peralta hasn’t fallen off the map by any means, but he’s been giving up runs at a high rate lately. Meanwhile, the O’s will turn to a steady veteran in Kyle Gibson who’s won three decisions in a row. I like taking a shot with the Game one upset, so back Baltimore this Tuesday.
