Nicolas Kuhn And Callum McGregor Give Hoops 2-0 Lead At Half-Time Against Hibernian
Celtic picked up where they left off last weekend against Kilmarnock, continuing their strong form in the first five minutes of today’s Game against Hibernian.
Nicolas Kuhn played a superb ball over the Hibernian defence to Kyogo Furuhashi, with the Japanese striker testing Hibernian goalkeeper Josef Bursik early from outside the box.
The Englishman then parried the shot in the direction of veteran Hoops winger James Forrest, who used all of his experience to look up and find Kuhn at the back post for a tap-in, to give the Hoops the lead in just the 3rd minute of the Game.

Forrest will rightfully receive much of the credit for the opening goal, as his selflessness in finding the German winger instead of shooting himself was the right decision.
Callum McGregor would then mark his retirement from international Football with a sensational strike from outside the box in the 19th minute, with his former Scotland manager Steve Clarke and assistant coach John Carver in attendance.

McGregor’s Celtic career has gone from strength to strength.
Since moving to a deeper role in midfield following Scott Brown’s retirement, he has enjoyed a new lease on life, allowing him to pick his moments to join attacks.
This has resulted in sensational strikes from outside the box, just like the one he scored this afternoon.
Celtic have remained comfortable for much of the first half, with a third goal a real possibility in the second.
The Hoops are playing some sensational Football so far at a stadium that has proven difficult over the years.
