NFL SNF Steelers vs Raiders Same Game Parlay picks at +926 odds

The NFL Week 3 main slate will wrap up here with Sunday Night Football as the Pittsburgh Steelers travel West to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in the desert. What better way to celebrate a nationally televised primetime game than by betting a Same Game Parlay? Here’s what I’ve cooked up for the occasion:

Las Vegas Raiders -9.5 alternate spread (+260)

Josh Jacobs to rush for 125+ yards (+470)

Same Game Parlay odds: +926

We have a 2-leg Steelers vs Raiders Same Game Parlay which pays out at north of 9/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.

Las Vegas Raiders -9.5 alternate spread over Pittsburgh Steeler (+260)

To start this same Game parlay off we’ve got the Raiders on an alt spread. The Steelers’ offense has looked like arguably the worst in the league this season, so they’re certainly a good team to target on an alt spread. Pittsburgh OC Matt Canada has generated a lot of deserved criticism for his play-calling, and Kenny Pickett hasn’t made any sort of sophomore leap.

If anything Pickett looks like he has regressed, as he’s tossed three interceptions through two games while averaging just 6.0 yards per attempt and taking seven sacks. The ground game hasn’t been any better, as they have just 96 total rushing yards on the year. Pittsburgh beat the Browns last week, but that had more to do with Cleveland’s incompetence than anything they did well.

In Week 1 they got destroyed by the 49ers, and they couldn’t block the Browns’ defensive front at all last week so I’d expect Maxx Crosby to eat here. You can’t really blame the Raiders too much for losing on the road last week at Buffalo, and they looked pretty good the week before in a road win over Denver.

Josh Jacobs to rush for 125+ yards (+470)

This correlates heavily with the first leg of our same Game parlay. If Josh Jacobs is having a big day on the ground, we’re much more likely to cover that Raiders -9.5 alt spread. Jacobs has had a slow first couple of Games, providing us with the opportunity to buy low here. This is still a guy that rushed for 1,653 yards last season. Jacobs had five Games with at least 140+ rushing yards last year, so I think getting +470 here has some standalone value as well.

Pittsburgh’s run defense is vulnerable, and they just got shredded by the Browns on the ground last week. They were allowing Nick Chubb to average 6.4 yards per carry before he got hurt, and then his backup Jerome Ford averaged 6.6 and rushed for 106 yards after taking over midway through the Game.

Jacobs has a sky-high ceiling as we’ve seen plenty of times before, and the Raiders will be looking to run the ball a ton to avoid TJ Watt and the pass-rush.
