The Los Santos Drug War is coming to a close. On March 16, The Last Dose will pit Dax and the rest of the Fooliganz against their toughest opponent yet: Big Pharma. And you won't believe who's in charge of the drug company that's going to war with the Fooliganz.

Yes, it seems like "Dr." Isiah Friedlander survived the events of GTA 5. You may recall that Michael eventually finds out that Friedlander is just a conman without a real medical degree who charged him ludicrous sums for therapy sessions that weren't particularly helpful. When Friedlander later reveals he's been offered a TV show and wants to talk about Michael's case live on television, he tracks Friedlander down and threatens to kill him. The player is offered the choice of executing Friedlander or letting him go, and it appears the canon choice is to let Friedlander go. If that seems wildly out of character, you're not alone--Michael voice actor Ned Luke is just as surprised as the rest of us.

That's proving problematic for Dax and the gang. Friedlander went from Celebrity to executive sometime before 2023 as he now heads the FriedMind Pharmaceutical Corporation, which specializes in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Friedlander says he's got a drug that's ten times more potent than magic mushrooms, which is threatening to put Dax and the Fooliganz out of Business. You can see where this is going.

Besides introducing Friedlander as the big bad, Los Santos Drug War: The Last Dose will bring five new story missions that will reveal a mind-blowing connection between the illegal drug trade and the pharmaceutical industry. Judging by the trailer, there will be explosions, betrayals, and at least one more trip full of interesting colors and alien invaders.

The Last Dose hits GTA Online on March 16. If you need to get caught up on the Los Santos Drug War, we got you covered.
