The Utah Jazz beat the Dallas Mavericks 107-102 in NBA preseason play this week.

Because of how low stakes preseason basketball is, it rarely gets a ton of attention.

Unsurprisingly, the viral story that emerged from this particular outing had nothing to do with the Game itself.

Rather, a Mavericks fan caused something of a stir this week with her distracting outfit to the Game and Luka Doncic’s presence in some of her pictures. The imagery largely speaks for itself:

Big picture, this is shaping up to be a crucial year for the Mavericks. Fresh off an NBA Finals run – they can’t regress.

When they made the Western Conference Finals a few years ago they took their foot off the gas, let Jalen Brunson walk, and then subsequently failed to make the playoffs altogether.

That can’t happen this time around. That is why the team went out and added Klay Thompson, who has been fairly blunt in his feelings about joining a former rival.

Will Doncic and the Mavericks represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals this year again? Time will tell.
