According to reports by TMZ and information from law enforcement, Reddick's body was discovered at 9:30 AM on Friday, as the actor appeared to have died of "natural causes". Reddick is more commonly known for his roles as Baltimore Police Department officer Cedrick Daniels on HBO's The Wire and Charon in the John Wick series, but he was also a massive part of the Games industry, featuring in some of the biggest titles around. For starters, Reddick recently played the role of Albert Wesker in Netflix's now cancelled Resident Evil series. He also played the roles of Sylens in both Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, as well as Commander Zavala in Destiny 2. He's also featured in other massive titles like Dead Space and Quantum Break.

While Reddick is no longer with us, we'll probably see Games and movies that feature him for a little while yet. Not only is John Wick: Chapter 4 still to hit theatres, but we may also see him feature in the upcoming Burning Shores DLC for Horizon Forbidden West. It's also thrown into question the state of the third Horizon Game that was teased towards the end of Forbidden West, as Lance Reddick's Sylens was a fairly influential character in the story.

In any case, the industry has lost a legend today, and our thoughts go out to Reddick's friends and family.
