Kendall Jenner Is the New Face of Calvin Klein Jeans




It’s a match made in fashion heaven—after more than a year of Kendall Jenner broadcasting her love for her Calvins on Instagram and the ensuing speculation that she might be a front runner for the Calvin Klein campaign, things are now official.

Calvin Klein Jeans has announced the #mycalvins Denim Series, a limited edition CK-branded urban and athletic streetwear–inspired collection, and with it, the two models to front the campaign—Jenner and male model Simon Nessman. “Modeling for Calvin Klein Jeans is really a dream come true,” Jenner says in a statement. “I’ve grown up wearing the brand and seeing the iconic advertising in magazines and on billboards featuring some of the world’s top supermodels. To now be a part of that legacy is truly an honor.”

“Kendall is a modern beauty who brings her youthful spirit and edge to this special Calvin Klein Jeans campaign,” says Melisa Goldie, chief marketing officer of Calvin Klein, Inc. “Kendall’s powerful fan base and global reach will further amplify the current cultural conversation surrounding the Calvin Klein Jeans brand and highlight this exciting limited edition.”

The series was inspired by the #mycalvins social media campaign in which the fans, Jenner included (above), posted selfies of themselves in their Calvins. And the new collection doesn’t disappoint either—it’s a mash-up of modern detailing (like the cropped logo) with iconic menswear and womenswear styles, comprising jeans, denim shorts and jackets, joggers, and accessories.
