In a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) to celebrate the release of John Wick 4, Keanu Reeves was asked about his time playing Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 and answered back that he "loves" being the character.

Over the years, Keanu Reeves has played a number of beloved characters - Neo, John Wick, Constantine, Ted, the list is pretty damn long. In the gaming space, Reeves' standout role (and only role beyond some Matrix Games) is Johnny Silverhand, famous rockerboy and the secondary protagonist of the whole Game.

Reeves was a big part of Cyberpunk 2077's marketing but hasn't spoken about it very much since the Game launched a few years ago. Recently, however, he was asked about his time playing the character in a Reddit AMA to celebrate the impending release of John Wick 4. In his answer, Reeves said that he loves playing the character and that he thinks the people at CD Projekt Red are "friggin' amazing".

Reeves said, "Cool, thank you! I love Johnny Silverhand and I think all the folks at CD Projekt are friggin’ amazing! Video Games are fun! And it’s cool how Technology and storytelling are evolving in that space". It's a short response from the beloved actor, but it does show how much he enjoyed taking on the role, and gives some hope that we might see star in future Games considering his positive outlook on the industry. Here's hoping for an appearance in the next Cyberpunk Game from CD Projekt.

This isn't the first time that we've been told that Keanu Reeves loves Cyberpunk 2077, although at least this time it's coming from him. Back in 2021, CD Projekt Red claimed that Keanu Reeves loved playing the Game, which was later debunked by the actor himself in an interview with The Verge when he revealed he hadn't ever played it and only saw demonstrations. At least this time it's clear that Reeves is talking about his performance.
