Greg Taylor Gives Matt O’Riley Insight Amidst Swirling Speculation

Amidst swirling transfer rumours linking Matt O’Riley to various moves away from Glasgow, the Celtic midfielder has maintained an exemplary level of performance during the team’s U.S. tour.

O’Riley captained Celtic in their win over DC United and continued his impressive form in a 4-3 win against Manchester City, strolling the Game. These performances suggest that O’Riley remains focused on his current responsibilities at Celtic, undistracted by the speculation about his future.

Celtic have knocked back a £14 million bid from Southampton for the player on Wednesday after also rejecting Atalanta’s offer earlier this week. His future is still uncertain, with Celtic holding out for a record fee.

As for Greg Taylor, he’s said that contract negotiations are no further forward, with his current deal set to expire next summer.

The pair will begin their preparations for their final pre-season match against Chelsea on Saturday.
