Fortnite Chapter 1 Map Returns With Creative 2.0 Update
Fortnite has been through an awful amount of changes over the years, so much so that the Game's current map is almost unrecognisable from what it started out as. There have been so many revisions and new additions - the most recent being the Mega City that came with the new season - that it's difficult to imagine what Fortnite looked like all the way back in Chapter 1. Thankfully, we don't have to imagine any more.
Epic revealed Fortnite Creative 2.0 earlier today, showcasing various new tools and tricks you can pull off with the Unreal Editor. Various new maps were shown off, some of them completely different from the Fortnite that we know, but one that has been garnering a whole lot of attention is a complete recreation of Fortnite Chapter 1's map.
You can see a trailer hyping up the map from Atlas Creative embedded down below, which also shows off some of the more popular areas of the map in Chapter 1, including Greasy Grove and Dusty Depot. Not only that, but it also seems like the map's graphics have also been slightly adjusted to fit the time period, really driving home the OG Fortnite vibe.
Epic itself also showed off plenty of weird and wonderful maps earlier today, including a few which look like completely different Games. For example, there's a horror/puzzle Game currently playable at the moment, a short segment of which you can find embedded above, truly showcasing just what these new tools are capable of and the sort of stuff we could see uploaded in the future once the talented Fortnite creators get their hands them.
Fortnite fans were already making recreations of Elden Ring bosses and mashing up battle royale titles, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of things they can pull off with this deeper set of tools. One thing is for sure, and that's the future of Fortnite is looking very bright indeed.
