A primetime NFL Game that needs no introduction. A rematch of last year’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5). The NFL was wise to schedule this in the spot they did with both teams coming out of a bye week. The Eagles will be without Dallas Goedert and Nakobe Dean as two significant contributors to this NFC contender; the Chiefs come in relatively Healthy this Monday.

Jalen Hurts (PHI) over 8.5 rush attempts (-110)

Line available on BetMGM Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

There are alot of different ways to play Jalen Hurts on Monday night that I would agree with, and it’s due to his ability to show up in big moments. This is one of them. With Goedert down last season, Hurts hit this line in 3/5 games, and I believe losing his safety net makes the decision to take off at the breakdown of plays much easier. Now, fast forward to this season, Hurts has been battling knee issues, but from what we’ve read the bye week has done a lot to get that in better shape.

This season, Hurts has picked his spots when it comes to running the ball and the correlation is clear: he runs when it matters. Hurts has cleared this line in 6/8 Games this season and double-digit in 5/8. The teams that he rushed for double-digit carries against? LAR, MIN, MIA, TB, and DAL. Four of the 5 are NFC teams and MIA is an AFC contender. The teams he went under 10 carries on? NE, WAS (twice), and NYJ. I like Hurts to step up in primetime and put his name atop the MVP list. 2U

Justin Watson (KC) over 22.5 receiving yards (-114)

Line available on Fanduel Sportsbook at the time of publishing.

One of our favorite guys this season that’s hit this line in 5/8 Games (62%). You can play Watson’s over every week and likely end up positive by the end of the season, but I’m reserving my spots to teams with weak secondaries and higher scoring affairs. Rookie wide receiver Justyn Ross has been out the last two weeks, and although he’s not a huge factor in this cavalcade of Chiefs receivers, but him being out landed Watson 2 receptions in b2b weeks which has not happened since Weeks 1-3. The Eagles secondary is allowing the 6th highest passer rating when in zone coverage and Watson has 16.1 yards per reception vs zone. 1U
