Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Getting Orange Piccolo In New Hero Of Justice Pack DLC

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is still getting new DLC even as it heads into its seventh year since release. Last year’s Hero of Justice Pack added several characters from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie and this year’s Hero of Justice Pack 2 will continue that trend with at least one more fan favorite.

Revealed at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 presentation, the Hero of Justice Pack 2 will arrive sometime later this year with Orange Piccolo, the “potential unleashed” form of Piccolo. Just as he’s portrayed in the film Orange Piccolo is bigger, badder, and more orange than regular Piccolo, and able to kick both Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 straight into concrete with ease.

There’s also one more character teased as part of the Hero of Justice Pack 2, but we won’t know who that will be until later. Given that both Hero of Justice Packs feature characters from Super Hero, it seems likely we can expect at least one more character to appear from the film.

In addition to the paid DLC, Bandai Namco announced a free update that will hit Xenoverse 2 adding Cell Max as a raid boss. As with most other Games, raids bosses are intended to be defeated in groups, so be sure to call in a few friends to help take Cell Max down.

For those who have already purchased the first Hero of Justice Pack, the second one will be available separately, or you can purchase both packs as part of the new Hero Of Justice Pack Set. Bandai Namco said both the new pack and the free update with Cell Max are “coming soon.”

Dragon Ball fans are likely to be excited about another new Game that's on the way. A new Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Game was just announced, marking the fourth entry into the Budokai Tenkaichi series. We don't know for sure if the Game will just be given the number "four" or if it will be given "Sparking! Zero!" as a final release title.
