Dirk Nowitzki’s Dream For Mavericks Star Luka Doncic

Dirk Nowitzki is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He has reached the sort of heights that few have been able to reach, and as a result, many regard him as the greatest international player ever.

Over the years Nowitzki has become more and more vocal. He does a ton of interviews and drops lots of fascinating tidbits.

Between his confession about the toughest player he ever faced and his story about how he almost became a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, he is dropping gems left and right these days.

This week Nowitzki did an interview where he revealed his dream for Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic – for the latter to have an opportunity to play alongside his good friend, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.

“I hope that would be in Dallas,” Nowitzki said of Jokic.

“I’m not sure if that will ever happen, but obviously, both are two of the best players in the world. If now the best players in the world. They both have a great relationship with each other, they respect each other and like each other genuinely. They spend time with each other. I’m not sure, but of course, we want Luka in Dallas as long as we can.

“Hopefully, he finishes his career there, but I love Jokic’s Game, how he plays the Game with passion, and the skill level as a big is unbelievable. They’re both incredible players.”

Doncic and Jokic are two incredible stars – just like Nowitzki was. The idea of them teaming up is definitely fascinating, but it would also make for very scary times for the rest of the NBA.
