The Stars were able to keep their Stanley Cup hopes alive after a 3-2 overtime victory over the Golden Knights on Thursday night. Even without their captain Jamie Benn and forward Evgenii Dadonov, the Stars were able to come together and find a way to pull out the win. The Stars also outhit the Golden Knights 46 to 23. As well as going 2/2 on the power play. Jason Robertson had his first multi-goal playoff game, which gave the Stars some life after seeing their top player produce in an elimination game. With the series shifting back to Vegas on Saturday, it’s fair to expect the Golden Knights to respond in kind at home.

Las Vegas let a golden chance to go to its second Stanley Cup Final slip away on Thursday, but the Golden Knights did not play that bad of a game. Top players such as Jack Eichel and Jonathan Marchessault produced a point each and the team looked confident and ready for the moment. The penalty in overtime is what killed this team, but look for this resilient side to bounce back with some fight on Saturday night. Every game has gone under except for the opening game in this series. Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger was pulled in game 3 but was able to bounce back in game 4 stopping 37 of 39 shots for a .949 save percentage.
