Crash Team Rumble Gameplay has leaked, and it's not much more than we expected. In the clip circulating on social media, we see players spin-dash their way to getting the most points, as two teams fight to be the first to gather 2,000 wumpa fruit.

The clip also reveals some of the abilities players can use to stop enemies from stealing their wumpa, seemingly unique to each character. All of the familiar faces you'd expect to see are here too, with Crash, Coco, Cortex, and Dingodile appearing in the clip.

The video was apparently released early by IGN Italy, with the site presumably set to exclusively drop the Gameplay reveal at a later date. This has long since been deleted, and will likely be reshared once the embargo lifts.

THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY

Considering that we've seen very little of Crash Team Rumble since learning of its development (back when it was reportedly codenamed Wumpa League), fans are relieved to get another look at the Game. The reception is pretty positive too, with fans pleased with the direction of this very different Crash Bandicoot Game.

While everything in the Gameplay footage is fairly straightforward and self-explanatory, there are a few things of note. For starters, it seems like we have Chick and Stu back on the mic, just as they were in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (having first appeared in the criminally forgotten Crash Tag Team Racing). It also seems that we'll be able to select which track we listen to while we play, with the screen at the end of the match showing you which song was blasting in the background.

Despite this new Gameplay footage suggesting Crash Team Rumble is very near the end of development, we still don't have a release date. Right now, all we know is that it should be with us at some point in 2023, but Activision and Toys for Bob haven't given us anything more specific than that.
