Confirmed Celtic Starting XI: O’Riley Starts and Maeda Makes the Bench
Celtic have travelled to the capital for the first away game of the season.
There is a reduced number of fans in the away section today, with Hibs cutting Celtic’s allocation.
Last week saw a great team performance, with every player turning up and putting in a show for the fans. This week, Brendan Rodgers will be looking for more of the same, but it’s set to be a tough outing in a tough venue.
Last weekend, Hibs Travelled to St Mirren for their season opener. It was a straightforward 3-0 for the home side, with all the goals coming in the second half.
The last time Celtic were at Easter Road it was two Adam Idah penalties that saved the day, with Celtic winning 2-1. The Hoops won’t have Idah with them today, but talks to bring the striker back permanently are said to be progressing well and an agreement could soon be reached.
That means Kyogo is leading the line today, with Brendan Rodgers confirming his team selection.
