The focus in Major League Soccer may be on the playoffs and the Supporters' Shield race, but that doesn't mean that there aren't a few other chances for some silverware before then. The Crew have already secured MLS Cup and the Leagues Cup trophies under Wilfried Nancy and now they're looking to add more silverware while facing the reigning Liga MX champions. In a comPetition that pits MLS' best against Liga MX's, it's a chance to see two teams who want to defeat each other face off.

Storylines
Columbus Crew: Unbeaten in their last three matches, the Crew will need to balance this match with keeping up with teams around them in Major League Soccer. Trailing Inter Miami by eight points in the table, the Crew have a Game in hand to try and catch the Herons, but it may not be enough. With an attack led by Cucho Hernandez and Diego Rossi, the Crew will be able to test America's tough defense, but it may not be enough.
Club America: In the Apertura, Club America have struggled, only winning four of their nine fixtures so far, but they are only nine points behind Cruz Azul in first. Allowing just over one goal per Game, the defense has been ready to play, but scoring goals has been the issue. Facing the Crew, that's not a good thing to struggle with, considering that Nancy's defense is strong, but this is a team who could turn it on at any moment.
Prediction
The Crew will use homefield advantage to win another trophy as they look to establish themselves as a dynasty. Pick: Columbus Crew 2, Club America 1
